Equipment Use & Liability Notice: Equipment supplied by AHC&G Alphalife (electric beds, wheelchairs, overbed tables and related items) is intended to assist with home comfort, mobility and recovery, and is not a substitute for professional medical assessment. Before renting or purchasing, please consult the patient's doctor, physiotherapist, or other qualified healthcare provider to confirm the equipment is appropriate for their condition, weight, and care needs. All equipment must be used strictly according to the manufacturer's instructions and any guidance given at delivery. The user is responsible for operating it safely, supervising vulnerable users where needed, and reporting any fault or damage to us immediately, discontinuing use until it has been inspected.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, AHC&G Alphalife will not be liable for injury, loss of life, or damage arising from: misuse or use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions; use by a person for whom the equipment was not suited; unauthorised modification or repair by anyone other than AHC&G Alphalife or its appointed technicians; or continued use of equipment after a fault was reported or became apparent. This limitation does not apply where the law does not permit it to be excluded — including death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence, or strict liability for defective or unsafe goods under Section 61 of the Consumer Protection Act. Nothing in this notice limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act.

Renters and purchasers are responsible for operating equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety instructions. While we pride ourselves on express dispatch, delivery timelines may vary based on your specific location within our KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) service area.
